Got a Chilly Pup?
Win a Petco Jacket Here

Tanner Chooses a Navy Petco Jacket

These jackets are a toasty warm looking bunch of fuzzy, cozy warmies. Did it sound like I'm talking about the Snuggie? Nah! These are just nice jackets from Petco that you can win. I'm going to make this entry pretty simple and get these off to you before Winter is over.

There are 5 jackets up for grabs; Tanner seems to have decided the navy one feels pretty nice, so we'll let him keep it for the occasional cold snap we have. He doesn't have a single jacket, so I guess it's reasonable. After all, he did the modeling task that would usually be Oliver's job. Why is it that the little dogs like Oliver have all the great wardrobes? A question for another day....

These jackets are double-sided fleece for extra warmth around the middle, and are reversible too. This is an especially nice feature if Fido commits a faux pas and gets dirty before you arrive at your favorite lunch spot.

They have adjustable Velcro at the neck and stomach closures, and buttonholes for leash connection just below the neck. They have no tags for sizing, as they were samples, so I'll give you measurements and input. Please enter only to win those jackets that you are certain will fit your fido.

Simple, Classic Styles
The 3 medium jackets pictured here will fit medium-sized dogs with a 15-17" neck. They are 15" from neck to end, across the back.

Tanner is modeling one of the 3 large jackets we received from Petco, so I can give you more input on these. Tanner weighs 70 lbs., but is a taller than average Golden Retriever. He is slender for a Golden, but tall and muscular. These Large jackets are a perfect fit around Tanner's neck, as there is plenty of overlap in the Velcro. The belly area had a little less overlap, so a larger dog may have trouble closing the tummy area. Tanner is not very big around for a Golden of his weight, although he has a deep barrel chest. Most Labs would find these jackets to be too small around the middle, so I recommend these for more slender dogs in the larger breeds.

The large jackets measure 20 inches from neck to bottom. Their neck opening ranges from 17-21". Please measure your dog before entering, to be sure the jacket will fit. I cannot exchange the jacket once you receive it.

Enough about sizes, let's get down to the business at hand. If you do not see the Rafflecopter entry form here, simply click on the title to refresh and it should appear beneath my name. Good luck!

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Full disclaimer: The 6 jackets pictured here were provided as a promotional courtesy by Petco. I have not been compensated to give these away to you; however Tanner has chosen to keep 1 jacket for a chilly day. We'll call that a review sample :)  There is no purchase necessary to win. This giveaway is open to entries from the U.S. and Canada, except for Quebec; it is void where prohibited. Entrants must be 18 years of age.

Kouga would fit in the larger jacket, but I would be donating it to our local shelter for their up coming fundraiser. I like the Navy Petco jacket because blue is my favorite color.

Kandy and Kody would both be a size medium. I like the deep red plaid jacket most but they are all nice. Thanks for the chance!

The large jacket would fit Schooner or Skipper. I like the Navy. With out cold weather in South Bend, In it would keep them warm going outside to play.

Oh the Shih Tzu will need this when the inevitable shave comes this winter to deal with mats. Can't afford personal dog groomer and impossible to keep up :(

My 3 dogs are the inbetweens of a small to medium. So a medium is sure to fit one of them! I like the dark red plaid one...reminds me of Catholic school. The 2nd fav. is the blue one. The least fav. is the red and white one...looks too much like a candy cane. Too bad my dogs are not big like Tanner because I really like the orange one. I make something simular to these. I call them huggs.

Olivia would need the size large, she is 65 lbs. I really like the red one, it matches her service dog vest.
i agree with ur statement about clothing for our dogs.
i am glad that u have size options for large breeds, i am not one to dress up my girl except for halloween, but i know at xmas, Target had the cutest PJs, and they only made up to 45 lbs. I could see it if i was trying to dress a st.banard, but to not even stock her size. this would be nice. But then again i dont get why people put dresses on lil dogs, its weird to me.

Steel is a stout 61#. She would need the large. She's always worn blue, but since Tanner has staked his claim, she said she could be patriotic and wear red.

Molimo is seventy pounds but super lean. I believe a large would fit fine. She is a green gal, but since that is not an option red and then obviously orange would be our choice. Thanks!

My dogs are roughly 50 lbs and 65 lbs... Lola generally wear Medium while Hunter takes a large. For Lola I love either the red striped or plaid and for Hunter I would have to say the blue.
Thanks for another great giveaway carrie

I'm playing for Steely. She's the coldest "big" dog I've ever met. She needs a size large and she would enjoy wearing it. Blue is her color, but I'm sure she could sport some variety.

Roxy should fit the medium, I got a clearenced one for Molly that was part of their Holiday clerarenced and got her a large and it fits her perfectly so I think Roxy should fit the medium, I usually get Roxy a large and Molly an extra large but since the large fits Molly the medium should fit Roxy. If for some reason the jacket didnt fit any of my pets I would give it to one of my friends or donate it to a rescue group.

One of the ones with red or prefered but Molly especially isnt picky and if I won the blue medium Roxy would give it to her jack russell boyfriend who it would definately fit because he does not have any clothes but gets cold easily

Pepper is upstairs in bed with Scott so I don't have her specific measurements. I always buy her a medium and it fits well. I love the red and black tartan. Pepper would look spectacular in it ヅ Mitzi is too small for either. *Thanks* for the giveaway!

I have a golden retriever so I'd need a large.

The plaid medium jacket is cute! The Jacks have approx 12-13 inch necks and 13" backs.

My pom has become a little chubby so I would say medium.

I would love the large size red plaid jacket! Its adorable and my Coco looks good in red!

our Marley would fit in a medium perfectly!! the little candy cane stripes would be too cute on her (dealbunny20@gmail.com)

That large size orange jacket in the first picture would look great on Miles. He's a Basset Hound about 65 pounds, and pretty barrel chested. I think if it fits a slim Golden Retriever it should be just about right for him!
I also liked the red and black plaid one in the medium size, but I think it would be too small for either of our dogs.

I love the red plaid and all of them really. I would be happy with either size or color. I have 3 dogs so one would fit one of them. Thanks for the giveaway. Rita Spratlen rjspratlen@gmail.com

My papillon Theodore and pekachon Bella would love a nice warm medium coat. It gets plenty chilly here in PA.

I am going to choose the large sized jacket. I have a puppy that weighs 12 pounds now but she is a Chow Chow so I know that she is going to be a large dog. I would choose the red one. I think it would make her look like a million bucks. Thanks for the chance! katbirdfl (at) gmail (dot) com

I've got 3 dogs, so I'm not sure who's going to end up with it if I win, guess whoever fits it the best! I'll go with Medium in plaid for CJ since she's got a 15" neck, but she'll look cute in any of them! {jaydonco1}At{AoL}dOt{CoM}

My dog would need a medium size because her neck is about 15 inches. Is it ok if I like are three equally :)? I would love any of the three mediums if I won. They are so cute!
Thanks!
