Tanner Invites You to Read On...
Scrolling through my archives the other day found me wondering how any new visitor to the blog would ever find my best posts. Tanner and I put on our thinking caps and came up with a brilliant idea:

This link will take you to a list of YOUR favorite posts. No, I'm not bluffing. My really geekie analytics program tells me which posts and what topics are most popular with my readers. If you'd like to explore some of our more oft-read articles, you need only click on the sub-heading just above this paragraph to find a list of these posts. Enjoy!

#PetCharityDonations Names Latest Winner

by Carrie Boyko, CEB
© WindWolfPhoto on Twitter
Welcome to 2015! We're happy to be back in the driver's seat at All Things Dog Blog, where Tanner and Oliver are recuperating from a Doggie Hostel vacay, while I am coming around from a minor case of jet lag.

Today I'm excited to announce the winner of our holiday #PetCharityDonations Twitter giveaway event for which we plan to donate a case of canned dog food and food toppings to a Petfinder rescue. We want to thank those of you who participated during this busy time of year. Your photos were adorable, and added a spark of happiness to my days traveling. Layovers plus delayed and "broken" planes all added to the misery of flying during the holidays, but your photos pulled me out of the doldrums. Even more, the pups who get to enjoy these meals will be joyful in this New Year.

Our winner, @WindWolfPhoto, posted the above photograph. Feel free to join me in saying thank you on Twitter! I'll be in touch with this winner today. Meanwhile, watch for our upcoming giveaway events by checking out Fido's Freebie Friday each week and subscribing to our posts to assure you don't miss a thing.

I'm heading back to writing down my resolutions now. Have you written yours? Check out what we're going to be working on--coming this Saturday in the #WeeklyWag--and please share your own plans.

Happy New Year!

by Carrie Boyko, CEB

Natural Ultrablend Frozen Treats
Petfinder rescues are running a bit tight on food as the holiday season has taxed donations. All Things Dog Blog wants to help, and we're asking you to join us. When we announce the winner's name, we'll be making a donation to a Petfinder charity in the name of that winner. This could be you!

You can join in our giveaway on Instagram or Twitter by posting a photo (one pic per pet, per day) of your pet eating and including this statement:

"Help us + #AllThingsDogBlog feed Petfinder pets. #PetCharityDonations giveaway: http://ow.ly/FKdRD"

If you prefer not to post pics of your pets, you may repost this picture of Tanner, taken at our last rescue donation for the #PetCharityDonations program that we sponsor. Don't forget to include the statement above.:

We'll run this event through the New Year and announce the winner's name here on Friday, January 2, 2015. Your entries will be collected by use of the hashtags in the required statement. After we get the winner's name, we'll deliver a whole case of Castor and Pollux canned food and supplements, like those used to make our Natural Ultrablend Frozen Treats, pictured above. These are one of Tanner and Oliver's favorite snacks; they're super healthy and full of fiber and vitamins.

Start the New Year out with a good deed by paying it forward in this giveaway. We can't wait to see your pet's pics!

Thanks from #PetCharityDonations,

Petfinder Rescue Scores #PetCharityDonations!

by Carrie Boyko, CEB

Tanner Enjoyed Our Grooming Donation Delivery
Six bags of yummy, USA-made dog treats are going to be delivered to a Petfinder rescue as a result of your efforts. Thank you!  We have learned that the rescue loves to know who their benefactors are, so it's nice to attach a name to the package and snap a photo as a record of the gift.

The delivery will be made at the earliest adoption day following my upcoming trip to Barkworld Expo. When we have delivered the goodies, we'll be sure to post a photo on FB and Twitter to commemorate the day. The boys and I want to thank you for participating in this #PetCharityDonations event. We hope that by setting an example, more people will find opportunities to donate their spare pet necessities to a local shelter or rescue where these items can most certainly be put to good use.

Today's winner, whose donation of 6 big bags of dog treats will be most appreciated, is
Angela C. I'll get in touch with Angela via my AllThingsDogBlog@gmail.com email account. Watch for this email in your inbox or your spam file, and please get back to me with the information requested. Thanks much and congratulations!

Happy tails,

Help Us Shower a Shelter With Treats!

by Carrie Boyko, CEB

All Things Dog Blog is back to make another donation to a Petfinder shelter in a reader's name, and this time we're aiming to tickle these pups tummies with treats that can be used as training devices. Aren't we sneaky!

Tanner Loves Donation Deliveries

and Meeting New Friends

Our latest donation was well received when we delivered two packages of cleanup and grooming supplies (poop bags, shampoo and more) to A New Beginning, a Petfinder rescue. I'm fairly sure the dogs will smell us coming when we bring in a boatload of bags of yummy, USA- made treats.

You can enter to win a giveaway for a Petfinder shelter, and we'll deliver it with your name on it, if you like. The most important part is that we get the donation made. Our friends at Petfinder.com need all the help they can get with supplies, foster homes and food for the many pets in their care. So join us and let's try to make a donation in your name.

Just use the entry form at the bottom of this post to participate in whatever way you'd like. Choose only those entries you enjoy joining in for. If you're having trouble getting the entry form to appear, simply click the post title above and it will Come When Called. I have it very well trained!

Thanks for participating in #PetCharityDonations,

What is Organic Pet Food?

by Carrie Boyko, CEB

© AllThingsDogBlog.com
What Exactly Does USDA Organic Mean to You?
Most of you know that I've been feeding my dogs ORGANIX organic dog food for, well, years. I've lost count. Today I'm participating in an #OrganicPet survey to collect some data on what your perception of organic is. This is going to be fun, since understanding what you believe about organic is very important to understanding what I can do to continue to educate you and myself about this important topic. You can help by giving me just a few minutes to take the organic pet food survey.

Just in case you're passing up this chance to offer your
insight, I timed my own taking of this 6-question survey. It took me a whopping 21 seconds. Can you spare 21 seconds to help us create more accurate information to use in our sharing. Thanks!

Along with a group of us in this mini research project, we'll be tabulating the data and creating an infographic to share our findings. Are you curious? I can't wait to see it. I've read so much about this original method of food production and farming that I often forget what I thought about it before I started on this journey. Watch for the infographic to come as we approach Halloween. No spooky info, I promise. Just your answers. Join us!

Happy tails,
