Wishbone Flyers Winner Goes Long

Tanner is NOT Excited at All

Tanner has a complaint to register with regard to the Wishbone Flyer. From the look in his eyes, he is apparently telling me "We did not play long enough. Can't we keep going?"  I see that plea often when we play Fetch in the pool, but the dog park is a much hotter place where the sweltering heat tends to wear Tanner out much faster. 

Thankfully, we did our first Wishbone Flyer shots during the cooler months of Winter. I can tell you, though, Tanner is not ready to leave the Wishbone Flyer at home when we head off to the park. Quite the opposite, this morning he lured me back to our supply shelf to indicate with his snout that I had forgotten his new favorite toy. Those imploring eyes made me feel guilty that we did not have time for a long dog park outing, but I took it along for a quickie. No more sore arms for me :)

Our arsenal of fetch toys is growing. The Wishbone Flyer is an exciting addition, making it

easier to throw the ball farther to give Tanner a better workout--over and over again. He seems to never tire of this game.

It's clear that you are enjoying the Petco products that are shared here throughout the year. This terrific company is expanding their view of pet families and adding in more of the products that they can see are important to fulfilling our pets' bucket lists. This is part and parcel to their new Wholepets initiative. I'm eager to see more, as are Tanner and Oliver, who have claimed these 2 items from the prize box. Oh boy, has this been an active giveaway. As pet beds go, these giveaways are generally quite high-interest. But with only one small bed to offer I wasn't sure how this holiday-period giveaway would fare. Obviously the Wash 'n Zip caught your attention in a big way.

Winning Gets Simpler and Simpler!

In case you were watching for this announcement, I apologize for the delay. My Internet was out yesterday due to landscaping next door that cut the cable. Lucky me had to wait until late into the evening for service to resume. Ahhh....one of the hazards of this job, I suppose.

This Black Friday giveaway was an interesting experiment in which I offered prizes to winners for simply subscribing to All Things Dog Blog. To win the surprise gifts, I asked readers to Tweet the message below. During this very short Tweet session (only 3 days) I was thrilled to get a pile of new subscribers. Yay!

Although I did not announce the prizes (Twitter's 140 characters is rather confining) nor the number of prizes, I sure did get a terrific response. Who knew?!!

Today I plugged my total number of email subscribers into Random.org and came up with these two winners: Arabella and Elka. I've left out their internet service providers and portions of their email addresses for privacy, but will notify them today and offer a prize selection for each winner to choose from for their particular pup, or perhaps themselves. 

Would you like to get in on this action? I plan to run this sort of giveaway again, and each time it will be a surprise. Prizes will be valued at no less than $20. Each prize package will vary, but you will always be offered a prize suitable to your dog's size and sex. No frilly dresses for your Great Dane or large, heavy balls for your Chihuahua.

Woofing Wetsuit and Bath Kit Winners

Alas, the Internet has returned to All Things Dog Blog after a long post-Thanksgiving weekend drought. With our neighbors putting in sod, the workers cut the line and it was an all day process to reconnect the cable. I'm happy to get back in the saddle today, but boy howdy is my email full. I'll be doing double time to play catch up today.

Our HomeGoods giveaway of a wetsuit and bath kit was fun and unique. Apparently there are lots of dogs who have their preferences over swimming, baths, or just plain hate them both!
