For the Love of Dogs
With my connections in publishing, I sometimes have the opportunity to pick up children's books, or even the occasional adult dog books. I like sharing these with my readers so that they can help their children grow to love dogs and reading, two of my favorite things.

Today we're opening a giveaway of 3 copies of a hardback children's book: For the Love of Dogs, An A-to-Z Primer for Dog Lovers of All Ages, written by Allison Weiss Entrekin and Illustrated by Mark Anderson. The watercolor illustrations are adorable and the book includes a foreword by Victoria Stilwell. It's a beautiful gift book for a child in your life, or the perfect read aloud for your own youngster, bursting with fun associations with each of the letters of the alphabet.

You may enter to win at the Rafflecopter below. If it's trying to hide even lower than the Z, you can bring it out by clicking on the post title above. It will jump right out and be ready to play ball.

Entries will be accepted through 11:59 PM on Thursday, August 1. The winners will be announced on the blog on Friday afternoon, August 2. Good luck to you all!

The books in this giveaway were acquired by me at my own expense. I am not being compensated to promote them and this giveaway. Enjoy!

I can't tell you how important we think reading is. We're always reading something--usually more than one thing at a time (Science; Learn other than Science; Fiction). Dannyboy listened to the oldest granddaughter learn to read, and now Vlad & Barkly have learned to listen too.

Funny that the child thinks that they're just following directions to, "Amuse my dog please."
