Pet Lovers Win and Learn at #LitterChat

Patches Models for Swheat Scoop
Who knew that an hour of litterbox chat could be so much fun?!!! The cat-loving world came out in droves last night to talk about their kitty litter issues and to get answers. While joining us at #LitterChat, sponsored by Swheat Scoop, guests won hundreds of dollars in Swheat Scoop kitty litter, high end litterboxes, organizers, toys and treats. A grand time was had by all!

@EventBarkers, @PetSandy and @SwheatScoop joined @AllThingsDog, @CatTipper and @DogTipper--to name a few--to bring an enormous amount of detailed information to families with litterbox dilemmas. I'm proud to say we provided solutions to dozens with cat litter problems that were easily solvable with expert advice.

Thanks to @PetSandy for jumping in to share her expertise, while our Event Barkers team each shared a small niche of issues that are most familiar to us. Some of our guests even joined in to learn how to compost cat litter with @Learnin2BGreen. Yes, it's true! You can read up on how to do this at home in my post coming Sunday. I'll share the whole process and be happy to field questions.

Our winners grabbed some fancy cat litter boxes and loungers by @ImperialCat@HelloModko and @PetSafe, and litterbox accessory organizers by Petlinks. Toys and treats went to a few winners and every winner took home a 14 lb. bag of @SwheatScoop natural wheat cat litter. Our Grand Prize winner really stole the show by nabbing an entire year's worth of Swheat Scoop along with other great prizes.

Congratulations to the following winners: @Cammi72, @beaniewienies1, Joelle D., @idreamofJenn, @Emma__Peel, @EarthboundKitty, and our Grand Prize winner is @3whiskateers. If we don't have your shipping address yet, be sure to send it along promptly with your phone number for the shipper to EventBarkers@gmail.com.  Be sure to check out CatTipper's winner announcement here.

It's easy to say that #LitterChat was an extreme success with lots of great information and happy winners. If you missed it, we hope you'll consider subscribing to the Event Barkers newsletter to make sure you don't miss future events.

And to those of you who found the Twitter Party atmosphere a little too fast-paced, you'll find help in the left sidebar of my site at the Twitter 101 posts that are listed there. Enjoy a good read before our next event. Best wishes.

Happy tails!

Just Three Mom?
Humans love chocolate on Valentines Day. I trust you all know that chocolate is dangerous for your dogs. That's why we have Pawsitively Homemade treats that have no artificial ingredients and come in special needs versions such as wheat free and gluten free. Awesome!

We've had fun trying these yummy treats at our house. In fact, they smell so good I was tempted to try one myself. Don't worry, I managed to hold back, but it wasn't easy. I love peanut butter cookies! Tanner and Oliver are continuing to enjoy an afternoon snack after their photo shoots and training sessions. I'ts nice to give them something they really look forward to when they work so very hard for it.

Today's winners of a box of assorted Pawsitively Homemade Valentine treats are Dh Hd, L. Paylor, D Burghardt, K. Volz, S Weinstein, and D. Ellis. You'll each receive an email from AllThingsDogBlog@gmail.com requesting your mailing address for the shipment. Read the information and be sure to include everything I request. If you do not see an email by 6 PM ET, please check your spam file or email me at the address just mentioned.

Congratulations to you all. Just remember that a little of a good thing goes a long way. Limit treats according to your dog's size and tummy sensitivity, allowing him to enjoy the entire box over a longer period. For best results, I recommend refrigerating the treats to preserve them for extended noshing. Enjoy!
