Storytime Anyone?

Reading is so much a part of life that I get great joy from giving away dog books for my visitors to share with their kids, grandkids, students and neighbors. My grown children still tell me that some of their best childhood memories are of reading with mom and dad.


Today's giveaway is for youngsters who enjoy poetry. The illustrations in these books will help bring young imaginations to life. I hope the new owners will enjoy these books and share them with others as well.

Dog Mysteries Generate Enthusiasm: Winners Announced Here

Parents, grandparents and teachers have all taken to following my dog book giveaways for kids, and I couldn't be more happy about that. As a parent of 3 all-grown-up readers I'm proud to look back and know that I played a part in forming this great lifetime habit by regularly reading aloud to my kids. There's nothing better than a good dog book to get your child's imagination working. It does my heart good to see your interest.

Today's books are boxed sets of a series called the Buddy Files. These mysteries were profiled at the announcement post. Based on the number of entries, I'd say they were a big hit. Next week I'm going back to kids books, so if your children, grandchildren, nephew and nieces or students love dog stories, you know where to enter to win them.
