You're Giving it All Away? No!!!!!

Spring is on the horizon for those of us in Florida, although I realize that many of you may be shaking your heads and wondering which planet I live on. Our 74 degrees as I write this is probably not even a dream for many of you. Nevertheless, I have begun to think about Spring Cleaning. This can and does include checking the expiration dates for all edible samples, pet food, and treats that I have received from sponsors, swag bags and the like. I hope you will regularly do the same for your pet's health and safety.

Today I'm kicking off a giveaway that features Natural Balance products. You'll find two prize packages detailed on the Rafflecopter below. Both Fido and Fluffy have a chance to win in this fun giveaway, so jump right in if you have either a dog or a cat in your home.

Patches' Gotcha Day Treat Giveaway

Snoozing Away a Senior Day

Patches' has definitely decided it's time to enjoy her golden years. Lately she has taken to snoozing on one of Tanner's favorite beds. We call this the Bo Obama bed because we bought it for Bo's visit a while back. That was a very exciting time, but so is our little girl's Gotcha Day. Since we don't know Patches' actual birthday, we estimated and chose November 1 as her day to celebrate her birth. I'd love to hear from you about how you chose your pet's Gotcha Day. Do tell!

Patches is now 16 years old and in good health--definitely cause for celebration. She enjoys an easy lifestyle these days, but still gets out to chase lizards, even though she doesn't stay with it as long as she did in her younger days. 

Being a senior does have its rewards. She has a multitude of beds around the house, and places to escape the activity of Tanner, Oliver and Jacque's more youthful silliness. They do keep this place hopping.

Patches also enjoys her Natural Balance Perfect Bites kitty treats. Whenever I get the package off the shelf, I get one of those oh-so-cozy rubs against my leg that cat owners know all too well. Natural Balance Winner Scores Big!

I Fetched a Winner!

And he didn't have to pull it out of the pool. What's the fun in that? I'll tell you what. This winner will retrieve several packages of Natural Balance treats (even some for Meow), 2 sets of bowls for the Summer home or just for Summer travel, a pedometer and laser light for working on Fido's waistline, a sample of Tanner and Oliver's Natural Balance Organic formula food and more.

Tanner really enjoyed rolling the photo shoot for this gift basket. Not only did it smell good, but I let him pose for some of the pics by his favorite possession--the swimming pool. That's how he stays in great shape. Swimming is excellent exercise and easy on his joints. And afterwards, Tanner got some yummy treats as a reward. There's nothing like his favorites, the Roll-A-Round treats, to get his attention and assure that he'll be motivated to pose again next time.

Pet Faves at Natural Balance

It's Giveaway Time :)

The All Things Dog Blog dogs have been asked to name their favorite Natural Balance products. This was no easy task. Tanner's and Oliver's first pick was their meal choice--the Natural Balance Organic formula. 

Next the dogs each selected a favorite treat that they absolutely can't live without. I already knew which treats were Patches' favorite, so that wrapped up our list. She's a fan of Salmon, so it's Perfect Bites Salmon Formula Cat Treats for her. We also requested Rabbit so she could try out some 'game' treats. Yum; yum!

Tanner selected the L.I.T. Diets Duck and Potato Treat Roll. He learned to love these during agility classes and will perform most any skill quite willingly when I wave the scent his way. Can you tell he's a Retriever? Yes, he has duck on the brain. :)

Happy to Be an NB Dog

along with the Small Breed version of L.I.T. Treats in Sweet Potato and Bison. The boys could hardly wait for samples to arrive. Drooling, drooling!

But wait! Natural Balance offered a whole basket of giveaways that mirrored our pets' favorites and includes some other goodies. In addition to the edible yummies, they are including a food measuring scoop for accurate feeding (gotta watch those figures!), a dog pedometer to measure Fido's distance each day (It's cute too!), 2 sets of bowls for Summer travel, a laser pointer for indoor fun, and a Natural Balance grocery tote bag. Tanner Waits Permission

Coming up, I'm going to test out the pedometer and give you guys a chance to guess how many steps Tanner takes in a single day. I'll be sure to take it off when he goes swimming, but we'll measure all his other activities. I'll keep you posted on this event.
