Win a Cartoon Illustration of Your Fido

by Carrie Boyko, CEB
© Nate Fakes
Meet Whitley
Nate Fakes; remember that name. I'm starting to see it all over Facebook; he's getting around. Nate's work is such fun; did you see my review?

Today I'm going to offer up a heartwarming piece of art to 2 of you--your very own pets.  Nate will take your photos and create a memory for you that will last far beyond your pets' years with you. You'll receive an 8 x 10 hi res portrait (a $60 value!) to treasure as I do my Xena's portrait that is on the Rafflecopter below.

Now if you just can't wait, you do have options. Visit Nate's site to see your choices and place your order. Say hi to Xena while you're there. As of today, she was still gracing the page linked here.

If you'd rather take your chances at winning, the Rafflecopter entry form is at the bottom of this post. It's super easy and I hope you'll enjoy the process of entering. Have fun with it! If you don't see the form below, simply click on the post title and it will reappear. It has a tendency to hide sometimes, but you can coax it back out with one click.

Entries will be accepted through October 11 and the winners will be announced on the evening of Friday, October 12. Good luck to you all!

I have not been paid to review Nate's work, but did receive a .jpg of my dog, Xena, for review. The thoughts included in the review are my own. This offer is available to readers everywhere except where prohibited by law. No purchase is required to enter.

i try to groom them -brush them everyday, b/c they get stuff in their feathers, i am not very good abt brushing their teeth, but i do and i scrape the tartar off, they do get healthy chew treats, put stuff in their water for tartar, clip their nails, watch their weight, give them gluten free, all natural food, raw diet, fruit, veggies, yogurt, probiotics, ?, vitamins, heartworm med, natural flea/tick...and lots of love and kisses..

Grooming, brushing and playtime balanced with proper food and lots of cuddles!

Regular vet visits, grooming, walking, playing ball, swimming and feeding a good kibble. Not over feeding in treats to make sure they are not made in China.

First of all, great art!!! Secondly, how do I maintain my dog's health? In so many ways. We walk and play daily, we eat healthy food, maintain a good weight, teeth get brushed daily, nails trimmed weekly, monthly heartguard, vet visits as needed, etc.

Ha! I love the cartoon of the dog playing fetch in a video game on Nate's site. Too funny!

I maintain Dumpling's health by measuring out his food/treats and giving him plenty of exercise!

I maintain Bentley's health through daily walks, play dates at the park and outings with our Charlotte Small Dog Society group, lots of TLC, check ups with the vet, grooming, and a nutrional diet (snacks and being fed 2x a day)

Nate is VERY artistic! Would love to win a picture of Bentley to put up in the house

Feeding them well, preventing parasites while also using the least amount of chemical pesticides as I can(not always easy since Jack is VERY allergic to fleas), I give them Omega 3 Fish Oil supplements, frequent training to keep their minds young, and exercise of course!

Cynthia Downer said...

I love them all, but this one made me smile especially because Midget has the same Silver Paws tag: http://natefakes.carbonmade.com/projects/4209927#9 Thanks for the giveaway, I'm really hoping to win.

She gets plenty of activity as my service dog, but i also make sure she gets off duty time to,just sit in the sun if she wants or run around each day. she is loved and is never allowed to,be around people arguing.

She eats a grain free diet of Acana Ranchlands, Zukes treats, Platos Eos Grain Free, Fromm treats, and Sojos.

I scale her teethm brush her and love her so

the thing i do most to keep my dog healthy, other than take her to the vet regularly, is make sure I brush her teeth at least three times a week. She doesn't mind it because its liver toothpaste lol

We play, we get dirty, then we get clean. We eat LOTS of fresh fruit and veggies. We scrape plaque and brush. Visit the vet and do what ever else we need to do.

I maintain my dog's health by providing her with daily vitamins plus skin and coat vitamins, plus joint vitamins. I feed her the amount that the doctor has told me she should have every day. I take her for groomings every 4 weeks and she goes to the vet for regular checkups and for anything that I think might be wrong. Plus she goes for walks all the time and to the doggie park and plays in the house all the time.

Christine Aiello said...

I love the watercolor photo of the dog! I would love one of those!

Danielle said...

Giving him dog treats only and no human food!

Kittie Kat E said...

I keep my senior girl healthy by feeding super healthy food (she eats raw and a canned/dry combo) and by trying to keep her active (she has really bad back legs so she cant do much).

I maintain my dogs and cats health by constantly monitoring their eating and drinking habits, their behavior, and regular vet checkups. I also am proactive with one of my dogs with monthly acupuncture (he has been diagnosed with degenerative myopathy disease).

Dolce's pretty tri colored head would make such a cute cartoon!

We maintain our furkids' health with lots of love and affection, premium food, fresh water, exercise, regular grooming (homestyle), and lots of attention. Actually they are all very spoiled, but they love us back and still mind us pretty well. I'd be lost without them!

lapcats said...

Tough decision, but I think the eyes on Whitley won me over. I'd like to have my late Daphne drawn, and she had those beautiful hypnotic Border Collie eyes that were captivating. I would love to be able to draw like Nate.
