Dog Stories Find Forever Families!

Ready for Summer Reading Fun
Tanner and Oliver enjoy listening to stories. Sound strange? Not according to my boys. We travel back and forth to visit family, and while in the car I play books on CD to listen to. It often amazes me that they can stay awake and just listen, even though they probably don't understand more than the occasional word. I suppose it's the rhythm and tone that keep them interested. It's fun to watch them when the narrator's inflection changes suddenly. Their eyes go wide and sometimes their nostrils flare--very interesting.

Today we're giving away 3 dog stories to 3 winners. These books are all written at about  the second grade reading level, so we hope they land with happy 6-8 year olds and are read over and over again. Try reading to your dog and see if he enjoys it.

Thanks for all your entries. I know that many of my readers do not have children, but I was still surprised to see the number that indicated that the books would go to nephews and nieces; it's amazing how many aunts and uncles there are in this group. What lucky kids to have you working to win books for them; yay!

The winners were drawn from Tweets (thanks for your energetic Tweeting!) and comments at the giveaway postOur winners are Christina, Holly S, and Ashley C. Congratulations ladies. I'll be in touch by Saturday evening with an email from AllThingsDogBlog@gmail.com. Be sure to confirm your mailing address. Happy tails!
