Mama May I?

I promised to give you some insight on the flavor and how Tanner and Oliver enjoyed the taste. When I opened the first blister pack, I was surprised to see Tanner come running to see what smelled so good. I'm not talking about a dog food smell, but more of a beef gravy sort of aroma.

I quickly noticed that both boys will eat their Steadfast first, before digging into their kibble, when the Steadfast is placed in the bowl. I'd say that's a good sign that they like the flavor.

Dog Supplement Giveaway: Glucosamine/Chondroitin for Arthritis

by Carrie Boyko, CEB

Swimming--The Best Exercise

 for Arthritis Prevention
Glucosamine-Chondroitin supplements were once considered an alternative therapy. No longer. Today the benefits are largely accepted as far reaching for humans and animals alike. Prevention is a big part of the therapy--swimming, regular exercise of the joints, and maintaining a healthy weight are all part of the plan for prevention.

Today I am here to present the winners of some samples of Glucosamine/Chondroitin supplements. My friends at i Love Dogs have graciously offered to up the donation of their product, so we'll have some very happy winners with this extra box added to my offering.

I've drawn the names of the winners, and will assign the products in the same order as the names drawn. Here goes:
  • Tammy Fazio--GLC 1000 for medium to large dogs
  • Crystal--GLC 1000 for small to medium dogs
  • Sugar--i Love Dogs sample (to include Glucosamine/Chondroitin, along with a sample of multivitamins and immunity booster tablets)
The kind folks at i Love Dogs have requested the weight of their winner, in order to ship a box of the appropriate product directly to the winner, Sugar. I'll need to hear from each winner with an address for shipment, and Sugar will need to provide her weight. Sorry girl; it's the rules :(  Send your info to LetsAdoptaDogPark@gmail.com, and I'll make sure you all get your supplements.

Congratulations and feel free to let me know how your dog tolerates the supplements. Tanner, my big Golden Retriever, enjoys his simply sprinkled over his meal. I don't have to hide it in a meatball or pack it in cheese; just dump it on and down it goes. How easy is that?!!

Happy swimming to all you arthritis-free pups.

And as always, don't forget to visit 5 Minutes for Fido, where Tanner and Oliver spout off their opinions and generally offer up silliness.
