Fido's Freebie Friday: Fun Giveaways

I gotta tell ya that that I absolutely had a blast reviewing a Betta Fish as entertainment for my dogs. Who knew? Even my cat Patches is now beginning to take notice. Photographing the dogs as they investigated the Olympic swimmer in our own home was quite cute. Tanner obviously was  confused. Why couldn't he get into the pool also? And even getting a drink was problematic when he toppled the lid off. He still doesn't understand the problem, and would completely love to jump right in and join the fish for some laps. Go figure. Maybe he is a little slow after all?

Fido's Freebie Friday Readies for #BarktoSchool

As the long, hot Summer drags on here in Florida, life is getting more interesting. We have an exchange student coming to join us for an internship. She is also a dog lover. Although my daughter is away interning in Africa, she looks forward to returning in a few weeks to  spend time with our Amsterdam native as they have become friends. Who knows, maybe I'll get these two on our #BarktoSchool Twitter Party. Paris and I need all the help we can get as you guys are so very enthusiastic about these events. Thank you for your passion!

Fido's Freebie Friday Goes #BarktoSchool

The Event Barkers #BarktoSchool Twitter Party has finally been officially announced. You can sign up at Dogtipper.com, 5MinutesforFido.com, Organic-Journey-Online.com, and here, of course. The sign up list syncs on all of our sites, so you can sign up on any site and it will appear on all of them. I think there's more sign up spots as well, but my head is spinning with all these blogs we've added to the mix. Time to hit the homeopathic shop for some anti-dizzy stuff. LOL!


This past week's most popular giveaways were (1) anxiety solutions and treats, (2) blankets and rugs,  and (3) pet lover jewelry. I hope these insights have been helpful. After today I won't be sharing them any longer. Let me know if you ever need to get an idea of what's most popular.



 Today's product review tip is the last in my collection for now. If you review includes a giveaway, lost or delayed products are a particular challenge when you are giving away floor samples from conferences that cannot be replaced. Each blogger must decide how they will handle delays and lost shipments. I recommend you post a page that itemizes your rules; it's always good to put it in writing and allow you readers to understand how you handle things. Best of luck with your reviews.

Another option you'll need to weigh is whether to compare prices to comparable items. While there are products that always sell for a set retail prize, some retailers and discounters offer deals, sales, coupons and other ways to save. Keep in mind this comparison will come under close scrutiny and may provoke comments that could be difficult to moderate. Often there are too many answers to a single issue. In addition, prices will vary on many products from region to region, making your information only useful in a specific area.
