As the long, hot Summer drags on here in Florida, life is getting more interesting. We have an exchange student coming to join us for an internship. She is also a dog lover. Although my daughter is away interning in Africa, she looks forward to returning in a few weeks to spend time with our Amsterdam native as they have become friends. Who knows, maybe I'll get these two on our #BarktoSchool Twitter Party. Paris and I need all the help we can get as you guys are so very enthusiastic about these events. Thank you for your passion!

The Event Barkers #BarktoSchool Twitter Party has finally been officially announced. You can sign up at Dogtipper.com, 5MinutesforFido.com, Organic-Journey-Online.com, and here, of course. The sign up list syncs on all of our sites, so you can sign up on any site and it will appear on all of them. I think there's more sign up spots as well, but my head is spinning with all these blogs we've added to the mix. Time to hit the homeopathic shop for some anti-dizzy stuff. LOL!
This past week's most popular giveaways were (1) anxiety solutions and treats, (2) blankets and rugs, and (3) pet lover jewelry. I hope these insights have been helpful. After today I won't be sharing them any longer. Let me know if you ever need to get an idea of what's most popular.
Today's product review tip is the last in my collection for now. If you review includes a giveaway, lost or delayed products are a particular challenge when you are giving away floor samples from conferences that cannot be replaced. Each blogger must decide how they will handle delays and lost shipments. I recommend you post a page that itemizes your rules; it's always good to put it in writing and allow you readers to understand how you handle things. Best of luck with your reviews.

Pet Product Review Tip # 19: When shipping your own products, there are many options. Every product brings a different set of challenges in terms of shipping--size, weight, shape, content (liquids, breakables, etc). Flat rate boxes with USPS are sometimes the way to go with heavier items, but these boxes do not come in larger sizes. Compare prices at both USPS and UPS when concerns arise about cost and insurance. Some insurance is included in your UPS cost, while insurance or delivery confirmation are separate costs with USPS. Each product feature adds another layer of complexity to the decision that means you'll need to determine shipping methods and who will do the shipping before the review and giveaway are scheduled.

We hope you and yours had a wonderful July 4th. I know that many of our pups do not particularly enjoy this celebration that often includes fireworks, causing fearful reactions. Oliver has become less reactive to these noises, simply sticking close to mom these days. He wears his Thundershirt and uses the Arenus Mellow Out, which both seem to have had a positive effect on his reaction.
Tanner remains clueless. Give him a pool to swim in during the day and he's a happy camper, enjoying his snooze time, right through the noisy festivities outdoors.
