Where does the time go? Today is Halloween and Oliver will be outside pawing out candy to the neighborhood kids. If we have any Fido Trick-or-Treaters we'll have goodies for them also. Oliver enjoys this activity and loves the attention he receives from all the children.
Tanner, well, he's another matter. I'm not quite sure what it is, but darkness is a curious thing for him. He's just a little bit spooked by it. When we go outside to take care of bedtime business, he starts at even the most familiar of our neighbors that may be walking by. He'll bark as though he doesn't know them, showing off his uncomfortable nervousness with their presence. So Tanner remains inside on Halloween night, happily napping away the evening on a favorite bed.
No worries, though; Tanner doesn't miss out on Halloween events at the dog park or pet supply stores. He's fine with daytime doings. Go figure what's up with his uncomfortable attitude toward darkness. If you have tips or thoughts, please share!
