Mutt Monday Ready for Fall

by Carrie Boyko, CEB

It has been a HOT, HOT summer here in Florida. I'm ready for some cooler weather. Yesterday we enjoyed a different kind of Fido walk; we took advantage of the climate-controlled temperature inside a pet super store to walk laps and practice training maneuvers. On the weekends when there are lots of customers in the store in search of both products and adoptions, it's a great time to practice the boys' commands with lots of distraction. A different environment from the dog park, where everyone is off-leash and running at will, a pet product store is a bit calmer middle ground for practicing your training. I hope you'll all give this a try on days when walking outdoors is prohibited by weather issues.

Mutt Monday is here to give you a look back at some of my recent postings, as well as invite other bloggers to share theirs here as well. All you have to do is click to visit the post that appeals to your curiosity. Enjoy!
