My #1 Dog Blogging Day Ever

Special Delivery Mail!

I opened my mail, as usual, without looking at the address. As I removed the card, I was shocked to see a hand-painted one, and turned the envelope over to see that it was addressed to my blog. Here is a photo post of what I got from a beloved reader....one that I will never forget. This is better than any gift from Tiffany's! Thank you, Niki. You're a joy!

A Hand-Painted Card
from a Very Special Reader
Notice the beautiful calligraphy vertically written down the center: Seasons Greetings. Do you notice anything else? What about the dogs? Are they familiar?

I gasped when I realized that these were MY dogs. Xena's image had me in tears. I met my husband at the door that evening holding the card and gingerly handed it to him. I asked him to open it carefully, as it is a gem. He gave me a curious look and after taking it all in, his words said it all:

"This is truly a treasure."
