Dogs: Mean it when you Say it:

by Carrie Boyko

With any command you endeavor to teach your dog, one of the critical components of success will be your assertiveness. As you give a command that your dog has learned, take nothing less than full compliance. Judy, our Ask the Dog Trainer Columnist, offers an example in this short clip. As you can see, the difference was simply in Judy's command of the situation. Do you have questions about training your dog? Feel free to write to Judy for help and tips at LetsAdoptaDogPark@gmail.com.
