Weekly Wag Fetch Series

Tanner Heads for His Floatimal
I'm thrilled to report that Petmate has stepped up to sponsor the Weekly Wag Fetch Training series with a prize giveaway. There's nothing better than a good toy giveaway to get you guys rolling on your bonding games. And fetch is one great way to bond with your dog.

It doesn't have to be a water game. Tanner enjoys fetch on land just as much as in the water, but water fetch is a wonderful way for your dog to get great exercise without overdoing the strain on his hips. If your fido enjoys swimming, these Floatimal toys will be ideal fetch toys as well. You can toss, tug or fetch this toy for hours of great fun.

Love that Firefly!
Petmate makes 6 different types of Floatimals:  a ladybug, dragonfly (that's what Tanner is after), bee, monkey, alligator, and a snake. They are all cute, soft and fun to play with, as well as floating nicely for water play.

This week's Weekly Wag will continue our Fetch training workout with more stringing of skills. Your fido will soon be ready for a good game of fetch if you've continued to work with him daily. Summer fun is just around the corner, so stay with it. Now let's give away some great Petmate toys.

The Rafflecopter continues to be a helpful tool for managing giveaways. If you're unable to see the entry form at the bottom of the post, simply refresh this page by clicking on the post title. It should reappear beneath the social media icons. Thanks much for joining in the fun at Weekly Wag; I look forward to seeing you all on Saturday for another edition.

Full disclosure: The Floatimal toys being given away here are a promotional giveaway by Petmate. I have not been compensated to run this giveaway, nor have I been supplied any sample product for review. I have reviewed Floatimals previously and found them to be a favorite toy of Tanner's.

Bullet would love this. He enjoys swimming so I am constantly looking for things he can play with in the water. We live on the lake and he tends to want to go to the beach ALL THE TIME :)

My dogs would likely enjoy this out of the water as they've never been swimming before.

But if we win, perhaps we'll have to try :)

I have a baby pool I put in the back yard for the dogs in the Summer. I would use these toys with that. Thanks! :)

My grandma lives on a lake, last year we got our dog a life vest. This year, he could use some toys! A little motivation to get him in the water :-)

We have a baby pool and we go to our friend's lake house during the summer. This would be a perfect toy to bring along.

These toys are so cool! My Abby has a very soft bite when it comes to toys so destroying them isn't a worry. She could even play with it in the bath tub!

our Trouble is such a spoiled boy with his toys. he picks his favorites and rotates them around. this would give him several and we could give the rest to the clinic for their adoptees to have a toy to go home with them. thanks so much for the opportunity to win these. hydepennym@gmail.com penny hyde

Kody and Ella would love to play fetch with the Floatimals in the backyard or in the house. We also use a kiddy pool in the summer and the dogs love to jump in and fetch their throw toys while cooling off. These toys would be great for that!

My dog just had surgery in his shoulders, when he can finally exercise again in April one of the things he is allowed to do is swim. He loves his pool toys.

I would use these with 2 of our dogs who have a very soft mouth. They like to run around and play fetch and would enjoy them in the pool when the weather is nice.

i have 3 min. schnauzer who hate to get baths, so they dont swim. however, my oldest, evie, loves to play in the water, loves to play with the water hose, and jumps the water....so i gather she would love to play with the toy in a baby pool.

my latest bonding experience was today for st.patty's day. i dressed up the 3 girls, evie was a patch of clover, tressa and harley were irish lassies. we went to our pet store for over 3 hrs for fun and games. a smorgasbord of treats for the girls.... fun had by all. our next events will be the spca walk, bark around the park and some other events coming up soon. evie and i play kickball everyday, either in the house or outside. since she was a baby, she has had a passion for playing w/ balls-all sizes.
