My Sheltie (Dakota) and my cat (Cody) are the best of friends....we got them just a few months apart and they are the same age. Cats and dogs CAN have amazing relationships!
"Armed truce" is the best way to describe the relationship between my cats and dog! The cats don't like each other, and they really, really don't like the dog!
I think they can live together. In some cases they have more humans feelings than us. We have that tabĂș that cats and Dogs are enemies. But they've Been demostrated that the friendship and love are in all live beens.
This picture reminds me of my first dog. After we got a cat, the two of them lived side by side for years without seeming to ever see each other.
ReplyDelete"Dog, what dog?"
"Cat? I don't see a cat?"
I love to see that! So cute. My dogs, cats and rabbits all lived happily together in the past. But Kelly thinks she should be the only creature.

ReplyDeleteI'd say that is a safe distance for respecting personal space or a sneak attack from the cat :)
